Pappardelle with Garlic Butter Prawns

On 7th May 2015, This was Dinner

Well the appetite was back with a vengeance today! I would have been like the kid in the pie eating contest in Stand by Me given the chance! Thankfully, I did plenty to have seconds from this fresh, mouth-watering pasta recipe.


  • Finely chop a couple of BIG garlic cloves
  • Chop some parsley
  • Zest a lemon (save for the juice)
  • Get butter, pasta, large cooked prawns & seasoning ready


Cook the pasta according to the instructions.

Gently cook the butter and garlic together. Stir in the zest and some seasoning then add the prawns, ensuring you gently warm them through and don’t overcook.

Drain the pasta and toss with the prawns and parsley.

Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
