We forgot to get the prawns out for what we were going to have tonight so, as it’s not shopping day until Saturdays, we had to pick something up.
Mr S would never have expected me to say “Should we have chicken wings?” but I did and there is no way he is ever going to say no. After having these before Christmas I was converted. The problem was, they were made with market bought wings and we had to buy these from Morrisons. Believe me, there is a whole world of difference!
They were still good though.
In a food bag, shake up plain flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, chilli powder and salt. Add the wings and shake well. Pop in the fridge for an hour.
Heat some vegetable oil in a pan (about 2cm) and then fry for 6 minutes on one side and six minutes on the other. Drain on kitchen paper and serve with whatever you fancy.
