On 22nd October, This was dinner…
As much as Mr S was craving a kebab and I was craving fish & chips, this seafood wouldn’t have been any good tomorrow. I’m so glad we made it, it was delicious.
From BBC Good Food’s birthday edition, it’s not available as a link yet.
Preparing:
- defrost a bag of mixed seafood
- finely slice a red chilli
- bash a couple of garlic cloves
- boil the kettle
- get oil, fennel seeds, linguine, smoked paprika, tin of chopped tomatoes, sugar & seasoning ready
Making:
Heat some oil in a pan and add the chilli, garlic and fennel seeds.
Add the smoked paprika and stir then add the chopped tomatoes and sugar and bring to the boil. Reduce to a simmer.
Get the pasta cooking.
When the pasta is almost done, drain the seafood and add to the sauce. Season well.
Drain the pasta and add to sauce.
I would have added parsley as per the recipe but I didn’t have any.
That’s it, I’m off to bed, I don’t think I’ve been this tired since our 12 hour drive home from France.
oh yes, always a winner 🙂
You and your seafood 😉
I am loving the birthday bbc good food issue – I must have 20 recipes ticked to cook so far!
It’s great isn’t it? And the next one is the Christmas one too!

Thank you so much, that’s very kind. I can’t promise that I will get around to it as I’m always playing catch up with the blog but it is very much appreciated.
Have a lovely day.
