Another Morrisons meal – it’s always worth picking up I think, here’s the original and here’s our slight adaptation.
- Cook some rice and leave to cool
- Butterfly a chicken
- Dice a pepper
- Peel & dice a carrot
- Slice some spring onions
- Slice a red chilli
- Get Chinese five spice, oil, frozen peas, eggs, soy sauce & seasoning ready
Season the chicken with the five spice powder and cook the chicken in a large pan for about 3-4 minutes on either side. Remove from the pan.
Pop a little oil in the pan and add the pepper, carrot, peas and chilli, stir fry for about five minutes.
Throw in the cooked rice and stir fry, when almost warmed through (and remember you must recook your rice well), move to one side of the pan and add egg, let it start to cook then stir it all together, stir frying until everything is cooked.
Add the spring onions and a dash soy sauce, cook for another minute and serve.
