We’ve made these pies a couple of times before. I actually came across them in a magazine which was showing ideas on what to do with your leftover Christmas turkey. Well it’s not Christmas and I don’t have any leftover turkey but it’s so cheap for a small turkey joint that it is no great hardship.
Other than the obvious of turkey and stilton there’s onion, mushrooms, thyme, brandy, cream and stock in here and yes, I did use pre-bought pastry. I served them with a side of my new love, celeriac fries.
