I was rather disappointed that my first meal after ‘operation pantry’ did not require that I had to run in and out of my pantry with various spices, flours etc.
Saturday consisted of a firm family favourite of (cumberland) sausage, mash and onion gravy. I only needed the stock and a bit of flour to thicken the gravy. Mr S is the chief masher in our house, it is always perfect.
